What’s inside Puria®
- Folic Acid – Folic Acid can reduce the risk of fetal neural tube defects when consumed at the appropriate level, at least the month before and for three months after conception. Puria® contains 360µg folic acid per serve (100% RDI2**) and this should be considered as part of a healthy diet involving the consumption of a variety of foods for women of child bearing age.
- Iron – Iron is a carrier of oxygen throughout the body and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. Due to an increase in blood volume during pregnancy, you will need to increase your iron intake. Lack of iron may make you feel tired and exhausted during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
- VITAMIN D – Vitamin D is essential for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and is necessary for normal bone structure.
- Iodine – The body needs iodine to make thyroid hormones; to maintain the nervous system and help with normal brain function.

Store in a cool, dry place. Puria® Mothers Nutritional Supplement doesn’t need to be refrigerated, but we think it tastes better when chilled.

The Goodness of Dairy - without Lactose
- Calcium – Calcium is essential for normal teeth and bone structure. During pregnancy and while breastfeeding it is important to maintain your body’s requirements for calcium and this drink makes it easy, as one serving per day provides 30% of your calcium needs.
- Protein – Protein is necessary for tissue building and repair and contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass. One serving per day provides 17% of your protein needs.
- NIL lactose*** – A natural enzyme is used to convert the milk sugar, lactose, into glucose and galactose. Puria® therefore allows women who are lactose-intolerant to benefit from the goodness of milk, but without the ill-effects of lactose.
